Sports 2019 – 2020

Sports provide students opportunities to engage in physical activity which is beneficial to build a healthy body, and it is said that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind. Maintaining physical fitness during the college years proves to be beneficial to both physical and mental health.

Studies have shown that even a few hours of physical activity help in increasing not only one’s self-esteem and overall mood but also improves mental alertness and ability to learn. Participation in such activities also builds team spirit and sportsmanship.

A huge ground has been developed for outdoor activities. Games like Carrom, Chess, Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Badminton etc. are also provided for. The students celebrate the Sports Week every year in the month of January with a great deal of enthusiasm.
