Graduation Ceremony 2018

St. John Technical Institutes celebrated their 7th Annual Graduation ceremony on 3rd March 2018 for the students who completed their graduation course in the academic year 2016-2017. It was a very proud moment for the Management to award Degree certificates to 567 graduates who successfully completed their professional graduation course in the academic year 2016-2017. His Lordship Bishop John Rodrigues, auxilliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Mumbai was invited as the chief guest for the event.

Other dignitaries present for the event were Mr.Albert D’souza, the Chairman of the Aldel Education trust, Mrs.Elvina D’souza, Secretary of the Aldel Education trust, Mrs.Elaine D’souza Buthello, Treasurer of the Aldel Education trust,
Dr. (Mrs.) Savita Tauro, the Deputy Director of St. John campus and Principal of St. John College of Pharmacy and Research, Dr. G.V.Mulgund, Principal of St. John College of Engineering and Management and Mr. C.C Patil, Principal of St. John College of Humanities And Sciences.

The Chief guest His Lordship Bishop John Rodrigues in his message stressed upon aspects such as having a right atmosphere, the need to come out of the mediocrity of routine life and the need to be courageous and to collaborate and share the expertise in order to be successful in all of their future endeavors. Mr. Albert W.D’souza, pointed out on that having the right attitude, hardworking mentality and thirst for knowledge as the keys for success. He also spoke about making best use of Time, Energy and Money, that came in varied proportion in different phases of life. The young graduates were shown a video on the address given by Dr.A.S Kiran kumar, Scientist and former Chairman of ISRO in the 2018 graduation ceremony of Mumbai university. Dr (Mrs) Savita Tauro alluded the speech given by Dr.Kiran kumar and reiterated the need to contribute and work towards the benefit of the nation. She reminded the young graduates that they are the brand ambassadors of their respective institution and should try to bring laurels to it and be the epitome for the future alumni of the institute by achieving great success in life.

Four students representing their respective institution shared their experiences of being a part of the St. John campus. Dr. G.V.Mulgund concluded the event by giving vote of thanks to all who helped to make the event a memorable.
