The function was presided by Most Rev. Bishop Eugene Joseph – Bishop of Varanasi Diocese. The Chief Guest of the program was Dr. Aloysius Sequeira – Professor and Head – School of Management National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Mangalore.

There was a short video presentation featuring the highlights of the multidisciplinary institutes, their activities and achievements right since the inception of the Campus in 2008.

The Chairman, Secretary and Campus Director welcomed the dignitaries with bouquets and mementoes. After the talk by Chairman and Advisor, the dignitaries were introduced by the Principal of SJCEM and SJIPR respectively.

Dr. Aloysius Sequeira addressed the gathering on humility, modesty, motivation, self-confidence and optimism. He advised them to develop interest to learn new things and to compete with themselves instead of others. He also explained them the difference between yesterday, today and tomorrow. Yesterday has no “o” letter so zero opportunity, today has 1 “o” letter i.e. 1 opportunity whereas tomorrow as 3 “o” letters which means 3 opportunities.
